Kaleigh was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

She began dancing at three years old, and at 17 she made her professional debut as Sharpay in High School Musical at Theatre Aquarius.

Kaleigh studied Acting at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario where she earned an honours Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. In her graduating year Kaleigh was awarded the Des McAnuff scholarship, given to a student who excels in all styles of performance as well as an academic proficiency award for the third highest GPA in her year.

Since then, Kaleigh has performed professionally across the country, and made her international debut in Greece where she originated leading roles in new works by leading playwrights Judith Thompson, Timberlake Wertenbaker and Velina Hasu Houston.
